What to Expect
Grace Crossing UMC provides a unique worship experience by blending a casual and relaxed atmosphere with traditional liturgy and creeds. Before worship begins, we welcome everyone to join us for breakfast treats provided by our hospitality team. You will see all ages visiting together in our café before worship and Kids Church.
If you have children, our Kids Crossing volunteers will help you check-in your children at the kiosk, or you can check in here beforehand. Nursery is provided for ages 0-2. Each Sunday our preschoolers gather to hear an age-appropriate lesson from the Bible that focuses on at least one of three main points that are repeated all year long: God Made Me, God Loves Me and Jesus Wants to Be My Friend Forever. After the lesson, the kids get to engage in activities that help them find ways they can live out the lesson with their friends and family.
Every Sunday our kindergarten – 5th graders gather to participate in a worship service that uses high-energy worship to music and fun and applicable messages to encourage our kids to engage with the Word of God. After worship, our kids break into age-based small groups with caring leaders that help the kids see how the message they heard in large group applies to their everyday lives.
In the sanctuary, our band will lead us in contemporary worship, as well as guiding us through several prayers and creeds that affirm our faith. We believe that what we do with our bodies, voices and minds in worship directly affects our heart and our relationship with Him.
A cornerstone of our weekly service is Communion. All are welcome at God’s table.
